Construction of Our 3D Stag Sculpture

We thought it would be interesting to share with you the build process for our magnificent 3D Stag Sculpture.

Starting with custom cut panels - all 441 of them! These are individual cut from steel plate, and are then welded together. The welded joins are then ground back for that slick smooth finish.

You can see how the beautiful beast starts to take shape (although this process takes a long time and is very precise).

Once complete, we give the stag a good coating of Linseed Oil to protect the steel, and then he is ready for his new home.
